Latest video of Aidan Hutchinson should excite Lions fans

The Detroit Lions’ season may have ended in disappointing fashion, but they have been given some reason to be excited for 2025 already.

Star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson shared video Monday showing him running at something close to full speed. The video comes roughly four months after Hutchinson suffered a broken left leg in a game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Hutchinson still looks like he is slightly favoring the left leg, but considering how quickly he has progressed to running after suffering the injury, that is to be expected.

The star edge rusher maintained toward the end of the season that he would be able to play in the Super Bowl if the Lions made it that far. Ultimately, they fell short by losing to the Washington Commanders in the NFC Divisional round, so we never got to find out if he would be able to follow through on that.

The Lions may well have avoided their early playoff exit had Hutchinson been healthy. The team struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks down the stretch, which Commanders QB Jayden Daniels exploited in the playoff game.

Hutchinson appeared to be on track for a monster season before suffering the injury. He had 7.5 sacks in five games when he went down. Fortunately, he looks like he is on track to be ready for the start of the 2025 season.
