USA Today

On the same day when Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn is in New York for a second interview to become the head coach of the Jets, another Lions assistant coach is also getting a second interview elsewhere to climb the coaching ladder.

Offensive line coach Hank Fraley is meeting with the Seattle Seahawks for a second interview to become that team’s new offensive coordinator. Fraley interviewed with Seattle virtually during the Lions’ bye week in the first round of the playoffs. This visit is in person.

Fraley has been the Lions offensive line coach since the 2020 season. He served as an assistant OL coach in Detroit in 2018 and 2019 as well after spending a season as UCLA’s OL coach. Fraley has received considerable praise around the league for his work in developing talent and molding the Lions unit into one of the NFL’s best lines.
