Updated list of Lions 2025 NFL Draft picks after trade for Za’Darius Smith

Yardbarker

The Detroit Lions finally made a splash at the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday when they traded a 2025 fifth-round and a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns for Za’Darius Smith and a 2026 seventh-round pick.

With all these picks moving around, we thought it might be a good idea to have a refresher on what the Lions now have available for draft picks next April. Here’s what they got and what they don’t got.

  • First-round pick
  • Second-round pick
  • No third-round pick. It was dealt to the New York Jets as part of the deal that allowed the Lions to move up for Giovanni Manu
  • Fourth-Round pick
  • No fifth round pick. That was just traded to the Browns for Smith
  • Sixth-round pick the Lions got from the Buccaneers in the Carlton Davis trade
  • Seventh-round pick
  • Seventh-round pick the Lions got from the Cowboys in their trade up for Terrion Arnold.

We’ll see at the end of the day if the Lions decide to make an other trade and then we’ll see what they have left if they do.
