The Lions are indirectly gearing up to potentially give Lions fans the most stressful Tuesday of their entire lives

Here we are Detroit Lions fans. It’s Friday and the Lions will be hitting the road to Green Bay on Saturday afternoon for their game on Sunday. It’s pretty clear at this time that the Lions won’t be making a trade this week. Trades are pretty rare on the weekend right before games.

That pretty much brings you to next week and it more than likely brings you to next week Tuesday to be exact. That’s when Week 9 is over and Week 10 begins. Tuesday is the NFL’s trade deadline, but it’s also something else much bigger than that, it’s election day here in America.

Now, real quick, we’re not going to tell you to vote for either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump. Who you vote for in that booth is up to you, but we will tell you to make sure you actually do get out there and vote because your vote does matter and nobody likes the person that doesn’t vote and then complains about the outcome.

The big thing about the election this year, and seemingly every year, is that Michigan is a swing state. So all eyes are on Michigan residents and there’s going to be a certain amount of stress that people in this state are going to feel regardless of who their candidate is.

Now if those people are also Lions fans, they’re about to have the added pressure of trying to figure out if their team is going to make a trade to help get the Lions over the big hump and win the Super Bowl this year.

Of course there’s another more stressful outcome here and that’s the Lions doing nothing at all. While we think there’s going to be reasons that are out of the Lions control for that, it’s something that could happen.

This all makes for the most stressful Tuesday a Lions fan will ever have in their entire life. The big hope is if the Lions make a deal, they do it on Monday and give everyone one last thing to worry about Tuesday, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. The Lions waited until deadline day last year and they’ll likely do it again this year.
