Let’s play detective here for a moment shall we? The Detroit Lions are a team that is in desperate need of pass rusher help with Aidan Hutchinson, John Cominsky, Marcus Davenport and Josh Paschal out. We know they’ve been calling around looking for teams to trade with and one of the teams they may have called is the New England Patriots.

They have edge rusher Josh Uche there and he has been the subject of trade talk all season long. Lions fans have actually been asking about him since last season. They’ve been wanting the former Michigan Wolverine back in Michigan. 

On Sunday the Patriots surprisingly made him a healthy scratch ahead of their matchup with the Jets. NFL insider Jordan Schultz has thoughts as to why.
