The Lions and Seahawks played another classic shootout, with Detroit coming out on top 42-29 to move to 3-1 on the season entering their bye week. It was a strong day overall, especially for quarterback Jared Goff, who made NFL history by becoming the first player ever to attempt at least ten passes and not have a single incompletion. He finished 18/18 for 292 yards and two touchdowns and also caught a touchdown pass.
