Lions social media team scores knockout win over Seattle too

USA Today

Jared Goff wasn’t the only perfect Detroit Lions performer on Monday night. Whoever ran the Lions’ social media account also scored perfectly with a knockout of the visiting Seattle Seahawks.

Before the game, the ESPN production crew captured Seahawks defender Tyrel Dodson leading a derogatory, condescending pump-up rally against the Lions. That caught the keen attention of Detroit’s social media staff, and they filed it away for good use.

Ladies and gentlemen, this retort from the Lions official account is officially good use of Seattle’s own words against them after Detroit’s players ran past them for a 42-29 win in Ford Field.

They did indeed find out–the hard way.
