The Detroit Lions ruled out three-time Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow for their home game against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night.

Lions coach Dan Campbell said earlier in the week that Ragnow was pushing to play versus Seattle despite sustaining a partially torn pectoral muscle during Detroit’s 20-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Ragnow, in fact, played through the injury while lining up for all 68 offensive snaps against the Cardinals.

“We’re going to put Frank down this week,” Campbell said Thursday. “So I’ll go ahead and get that out of the way. We can go round and round if we want. We’re not going to mess with that. Look, Frank’s tough. I mean, he’s as tough as nails. If anybody can play through it, it’s him. I think we got to be smart. It’s early in the year. We got a lot of football left.”

Left guard Graham Glasgow likely will move to center to replace Ragnow for the Lions (2-1), who have a bye week following the game against the Seahawks (3-0).

Ragnow, 28, has started all three games this season and all 83 contests in which he has played since being selected by the Lions with the 20th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Also Thursday, the Lions signed wide receiver Allen Robinson to the active roster and linebacker Abraham Beauplan to the practice squad.

Robinson, 31, caught 34 passes for 280 yards with no touchdowns in 17 games (all starts) last season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was released March 8 after one season in Pittsburgh in a money-saving move.

The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Robinson in the second round in 2014, and he spent four seasons there before moving on to the Chicago Bears (2017-21), Los Angeles Rams (2022), Steelers (2023) and Lions.

Robinson has 562 catches for 7,028 yards and 43 touchdowns in his career. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2015 when he tallied 1,400 receiving yards, the first of his three 1,000-yard seasons.
