Jared Goff does the right thing with Jameson Williams after Lions overtime win

The Detroit Lions won a nailbiter at home against the Los Angeles Rams and former Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. One of the big reasons the Lions won this game was because Jameson Williams had a breakout night.

The Rams defense was able to take both Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta off the menu for Goff and someone had to step up and some someone was Williams. That’s why it was bit surprising to see Jared Goff handed the player of the game ball after the game.

Don’t worry though, Goff did the right thing. He handed the ball to Williams on the field and then did the post game interview with him. A strong leader type move from the captain.
