Ranking Jared Goff amongst NFL quarterbacks is a hot topic around Detroit these days. After his recent $212 million contract extension, Goff’s place in the current quarterbacking pantheon took on a more national slant. Suffice it to say, Lions fans view Goff significantly higher than fans of other teams.
Texans Wire’s Cole Thompson put together a consensus quarterback rankings using a composite score from a multitude of different sites. Goff lands lower in these consensus rankings than expected, showing that there is still work to be done for Goff to get more respect around the league for all he does in Detroit.
