It is finally draft season for Lions fans.
Brad Holmes and his front office have proven they are very capable of putting together great draft classes. They have had major hits on every day of the draft, but especially on Day Two. This roster isn’t in desperate need of much because of his work, but they do have some positions that need to be addressed.
This offseason, they should be focusing on getting better play out of their defensive backs, adding depth on the defensive line, and building out the wide receiver room.
These scouting reports should introduce you to some of the names that Lions fans could hear during the three days of the NFL Draft.

Traits and Skills
Strength The term “country strong” is always thrown around but Zach Frazier is it. He tossed and handled everyone that teams threw at him in the Big 12 which includes several future NFL players. His athleticism is deceiving and will anchor him in the league but his strength will have him thriving. Moves Well I love guards and centers that move well and can lead block when asked and Frazier does that beautifully. With the majority of rushing attempts going up the middle, Frazier is athletic enough to open things up and allow the Lions to run more outside the numbers. Hand Placement Frazier does a great job of maintaining leverage on defenders with more than his strength. He does a great job getting under guys and getting his hands inside their pads to never lose control. He should have no problem with the size of interior NFL defenders because of it.
Fit within the Lions Roster
Zach Frazier is a true, bonafide, junkyard dog of a football player. Growing up in coal country, attending West Virginia, and then ending up in the Motor City is too perfect for his character arc. From a football standpoint, Frazier could start day one if need be and that is with him coming off a broken leg in November. The Lions getting him fits because their offensive line is mostly set but he could take his time coming back from injury and then replace someone at guard or Frank Ragnow at center.
