Darius Robinson really is a Lions fan, his mom has the proof

Missouri edge Darius Robinson loves the Detroit Lions. The potential first round draft choice grew up in Southfield, Michigan and says he’s been a fan of the Lions his entire life. His mom backed that up on Twitter on Thursday when she posted this.

That’s little Darius getting an autograph from former Lions first round pick Nick Fairley.

Robinson says he met with the Lions for a formal meeting at the NFL Combine this week and he said that he was very excited to do that.

“My heart was bumping, man. I’m telling you, it was like a dream just to see all the names and faces, growing up a Lions fan. That was a great interview.”

The Lions have a chance to make a nice moment here if they’re able to. If Robinson’s stock continues to rise, they may have to trade up to do it. But think about a world where both the Lions top edge rushers grew up Lions fans.
