Dan Campbell went over controversial play with officials before the game

This thing is like an onion at this point. The layers just keep coming. The Detroit Lions just lost on a ridiculous miscue by the officials. For a refresher, because I know you want relive this, here is Taylor Decker reporting as eligible as the official runs away from him and reports the guy that’s essentially in the parking lot and never said a word to official as eligible.

It’s not the fact that Skipper wasn’t the one who reported as eligible, it’s that Skipper didn’t even line up as a guy that would be eligible and Decker did. Which further shows that the official simply reported the wrong player.

To make matters so much worse, Lions head coach Dan Campbell went over this play with the officials previous to the game and told them what the Lions planned to do if they got the chance to do it.

“Two people can’t report. I don’t want to talk about it. I explained everything pregame to a tee.”

That means not only did the official report the wrong lineman, who was 28 feet away from him, eligible while also missing that lineman not lining up as an eligible receiver, he and his team ignored that they were told that this play would happen before the game and that they were told exactly who would be a part of this play. I just don’t know where you even go from here.

Here is official Brad Allen’s ludicrous take on the play where he essentially calls an entire franchise liars.
