Frank Ragnow told Dan Campbell he’d be at next game while on anesthesia

Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow is truly something else man. Ragnow got hurt against the Saints in Week 13 when he banged his knee up. That injury required that he had meniscus surgery. He had that surgery and then he played Saturday against the Broncos.

That’s not a normal thing by any means. Meniscus surgery usually takes some time to heal from. Ragnow took a week and a half and then balled out. You know what else isn’t normal, telling your coach you’ll be at the next game while on anesthesia. Ragnow did that too.

“I called Frank on the way out and he probably didn’t him remember it because what he was on. “Lions head coach Dan Campbell said. But I know this, he did say ‘I’ll be back for the next game. I’ll be back by practice on Wednesday.’ Sure enough, he was and every day he kept telling me I’ll be ready next week. I’ll be ready next week. And so that’s how Frank is.”

Campbell talks a lot about how C.J. Gardner-Johnson is like Wolverine and that he has mutant genes. Ragnow might have them too. Perhaps an investigation needs to go down to find out exactly how many mutans the Detroit Lions have in the building. What is this? Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters? Is Dan Campbell Professor X? I some how worked in two Marvel related references today. I think it’s time to clock out.
