NFL hits Amon-Ra St. Brown with the dumbest fine ever

Yardbarker

There’s no secret that the NFL has been crazy about their fines this season. Players are getting fined outrageous amounts for actions that just seem to match the punishment at all. Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was the latest to get hit by this.

St. Brown got fined $43,709 dollars for this below. He’s at the top of the video. Tell me what he did wrong.

We’ve all seen helmet to helmet plays. They’re vicious and bad. St. Brown’s helmet never even hits the defender here. I don’t think he even lowered his head. The defender made contact with St. Brown before he made contact with the defender. What are we doing here?

I realize that you might think that kind of money is a drop in the bucket for an NFL player, but it’s not. They just fined that man the annual salary of an assistant manager at Meijer for basically nothing.

We’ll see what crazy thing they come up with next. Maybe this is the wrong video? Who knows at this point? The NFL has been missing a lot this year with their officiating and fines.

You want to see something worse? The NFL fined Sauce Gardner $30,000 less for this German suplex on Stefon Diggs.
