The NFL levied a $43,709 fine on Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown this weekend for a block during his team’s Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears.

St. Brown was fined for what was deemed an illegal block against Bears safety Jaquen Brisker in the first quarter of the Lions’ 31-26 win at Ford Field in Detroit. The NFL penalized St. Brown for lowering his helmet to initiate contact.
