Looking toward Week 7 NFL betting action, here are three Detroit Lions prop bets for Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Detroit Lions had a bye in Week 6, but let’s still review Week 5’s prop bets before getting into Week 7. With them being shut out 29-0, it’s sure to have been ugly.

In Week 7, the Lions will travel to take on the Dallas Cowboys. The spread in favor of Dallas over at FanDuel Sportsbook has gone to 6.5 points on Friday from 7 points all week. Apparently the Lions getting some key players back offsets the Cowboys getting quarterback Dak Prescott back just a little bit.
It’s lined up to be a fairly high-scoring game Sunday, with an over/under at 48.5 over at FanDuel. The Lions will surely score this week, anyway.

Detroit Lions: 3 prop bets for Week 7 at the Cowboys
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Over 6.5 receptions (-120)
After missing Week 4 and being limited in Week 5 due to an ankle injury, St. Brown is off this week’s injury report. With DJ Chark going on IR Saturday and Josh Reynolds (knee) still banged up, the second-year man is lined up to take back his spot at Jared Goff’s No. 1 target
Playing mostly in the slot, St. Brown will likely avoid the coverage of Cowboys’ top cornerback Trevon Diggs on Sunday. A push to double-digit targets makes the over on 6.5 catches an easy bet, with shorter throws an order for Goff to avoid being impacted by Dallas’ pass rush.
TE T.J. Hockenson, Over 3.5 receptions (-156)
Hockenson was shut down by the Patriots in Week 5, as they clearly made him a priority. But even amid a slow start to the season, skewed by a huge game against the Seahawks in Week 4, he had at least three catches in each of the first four games this season.
Hockenson won’t be far behind St. Brown in the pecking order for targets from Goff, and a likely negative game script as a 6.5-point underdog offers plenty of volume. The over on 3.5 catches for the Lions’ tight end is too easy.
St. Brown, Anytime touchdown (+140)
Along with being fully healthy and getting plenty of targets his way on Sunday, St. Brown feels like a value bet to score at +140.
