Saints hire former Lions QB Kellen Moore as head coach

The New Orleans Saints are the last team to find their head coach this year. The Saints have hired Kellen Moore to be their new head man.

Moore heads to New Orleans after leading the Philadelphia Eagles offense to a Super Bowl title on Sunday as their offensive coordinator. He’s also been an assistant with the Chargers and Cowboys.

Lions fans recall Moore from his three seasons as Matthew Stafford’s backup, from 2012 through 2014. Moore was a legendary winner at Boise State in college, though his skills never translated to the NFL.
