Aidan Hutchinson, defensive end for the Detroit Lions, lately shared his thoughts on his former offensive coordinator, Aaron Glenn, becoming the current head coach of the New York Jets. On Thursday’s edition of the ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, Hutchinson had some great things to say about Glenn, and remarked that the new Jets coach knew just what to say every time.
Aaron Glenn became the new head coach of the New York Jets after the team fired Robert Saleh in the middle of the 2024 NFL season, along with general manager Joe Douglas. This new job is the first head coach post for Glenn, who started off his coaching career as an assistant defensive backs coach for the Cleveland Browns.
“I feel like he knew what to say at the right time every time. Every message whether it was a win or whether it was a loss, he was on point, Hutchinson continued about Glenn. Every time he said something, it was right, so him being a head coach, I think he’s going to be a really good head coach.” Aidan Hutchinson said on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’.
Aidan Hutchinson and the Detroit Lions finished at the top of the NFC North with 15 wins and two defeats in the 2024 NFL season. The Lions were officially kicked out as contenders for the Super Bowl after losing to the Washington Commanders with a final score of 45-31. In the same season, Hutchinson managed 12 solo tackles with 7.5 sacks before a tibia and fibular fracture cut short his year.
