Saturday night’s loss to the Washington Commanders has hit the Detroit Lions hard. It’s doing a number on the Lions devoted fan base, too.

The social media reaction to the humbling, mistake-filled loss is pretty much in line with what’s expected after such a rough outing by the Lions. Fans are mad, frustrated and sliding between sad and angry at various aspects of the loss. Others have taken a broader look and come up with less reactionary takes in the face of an unexpected move into the offseason.
