NFL hits Jameson Williams with a belated lump of coal after Christmas

Wow, this one is really weak. The NFL is fining Detroit Lions receiver Jameson Williams $11,255 for a taunting call he had last Sunday against the Chicago Bears. This is what they’re fining him for:

Williams spun the ball on the ground and didn’t say anything to Tyrique Stevenson, who was fined for tripping Williams just a few weeks ago, and somehow Williams gets fined $11,255 for that? What a joke.

This is obviously not the first time that Williams has been fined this season. The NFL fined him $14,609 for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the Week 4 game against the Seahawks and then fined him $19,697 for recreating the Marshawn Lynch touchdown celebration against the Jaguars.
