Lions begin injured reserve return window for Kalif Raymond

USA Today

Another injured Lions player is preparing to return to action soon. The Lions are starting the 21-day return window from injured reserve for wide receiver and return man Kalif Raymond.

Head coach Dan Campbell revealed that Raymond is starting to practice and will be activated once he’s ready.

“We’re going to start Kalif’s clock,” Campbell said during his Thursday press conference.

It didn’t sound optimistic that Raymond would be ready for the Monday night game in Week 17 against the San Francisco 49ers, however.

“We’ll see where he’s at,” Campbell continued. “I don’t feel as confident with him as I do (Jalen Reeves-Maybin), but it’s good to have him back out at practice.”

Reeves-Maybin had his 21-day window opened prior to Week 15.
