On the merits of a magnificent win in Minnesota, a pair of Detroit Lions are up for the weekly offensive honors around the NFL. Quarterback Jared Goff and running back Jahmyr Gibbs are finalists for the FedEx Air and Ground players of the week for Week 7.

Goff completed 22 of his 25 pass attempts for 280 yards and two touchdowns. He completed his first 15 pass attempts in the game. It’s the second week in a row Goff has been nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week.

Gibbs is nominated for the FedEx Ground honor for the first time in 2024. The second-year running back torched the Vikings for 116 rushing yards on 15 carries, scoring twice in Detroit’s 31-29 win over previously unbeaten Minnesota.

The awards are decided by fan voting. You can vote for Goff and Gibbs via the NFL’s website.
