Best and Worst PFF scores from the Lions win over the Cowboys

The Pro Football Focus grades for the Detroit Lions after the team’s 47-9 evisceration of the host Dallas Cowboys are some of the best marks that can be earned. While some players didn’t have their best games, most Lions wound up having season-high PFF marks for 2024.

In addition, the overall team wound up earning a couple of unprecedented kudos for how they dismantled Dallas. Here’s who thrived, who didn’t have their best games and a couple of notes about the Lions team accomplishments from Week 6.

Best offense

WR Kalif Raymond – 90.9

RB David Montgomery – 90.3

RT Penei Sewell – 87.1

WR Tim Patrick – 81.1

RG Kevin Zeitler – 77.7

Lowest offense

RG Kayode Awosika – 38.6

TE Brock Wright – 50.7

OL Dan Skipper – 51.7

TE Parker Hesse – 55.1

C Michael Niese – 55.6

Poor run blocking grades docked the reserve OL here.

Worst defense

CB Kindle Vildor – 47.7

CB Amik Robertson – 51.1

CB Terrion Arnold – 52.0

CB Khalil Dorsey – 57.7

LB Alex Anzalone – 58.7

Anzalone, Arnold and Dorsey’s grades were hindered by missed tackles

Best defense

EDGE Aidan Hutchinson – 95.1

S Brian Branch – 93.3

LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin – 89.1

CB Carlton Davis – 88.4

S Kerby Joseph – 87.5

Team overall grade notes

The overall team grade of 91.5 is the highest Detroit has earned since 2013. It ties with the Seahawks in Week 1 (SEA beat DEN 26-20) for the highest overall grade a team has earned in a game in 2024.

Detroit earned a 90.1 team defense grade, which is the highest the Lions have attained under DC Aaron Glenn. The 88.5 coverage grade is the highest under Glenn and is also the highest coverage grade for a team facing the Cowboys ever recorded, going back to 2011.
