NFL hits Lions’ CB Terrion Arnold with news he doesn’t want to hear ahead of Cardinals game

The Detroit Lions first-round rookie Terrion Arnold is struggling with some rookie woes early into his career. He’s playing well enough for the most part, but he’s racking up big penalties in every game.

So far he’s been called for defensive pass interference twice and a face mask once. It’s the face mask that’s bringing him news he doesn’t want to get this early into his career. The NFL will be fining him for his facemask penalty on Trey Palmer in Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The NFL is fining him $11,255. That is a lot if you ask us. The facemask was there, but it wasn’t blatant and it Arnold just sort of got caught in the middle of a pile and reached for whatever he could grab.

Hopefully this is something that Arnold can correct going forward. Three of his penalties have lead to scores from opponents. It needs to go away.
