The Detroit Lions will have their first road game of the year on Sunday when they head to Glendale to take on the Arizona Cardinals. The Lions have made a handful of moves ahead of the game. Here’s what they did.

Elevate Tim Patrick from practice squad

This one is no shocker. Lions head coach Dan Campbell said earlier in the week that the Lions would look to get Patrick more involved in the offense going forward and that they would also look to use his practice squad elevations before signing him to the 53-man roster. This counts as two elevations. The Lions have one more to use before they need to sign him to the main roster.

Elevate Allen Robinson from practice squad

Here we go. The Lions are going to see what the former Pro Bowler can do for them. Robinson will get to play for his hometown team for the first time in his career. It should be interesting to see how much they use him.
