The Detroit Lions are set to face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a rematch of last year’s second-round playoff match up. The Lions have made some roster moves ahead of Sundays game, here’s what they’ve done.

Elevate Tim Patrick from practice squad

Here we go. We’re ready to see Patrick make his Lions debut Sunday. It was expected that the Lions would use their practice squad elevations on him, or any of the practice squad receivers, before giving them a roster spot on the 53-man roster.

This is like a tryout game for Patrick. We don’t know how we’ll see of him, but he needs to succeed whenever he’s on the field.

Elevate Tom Kennedy from practice squad

Patrick isn’t the only receiver getting elevated on Sunday. The Lions will elevate Kennedy as well. This is likely due to Isaiah Williams being out with an injury.
