Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions broadcast map: Will you be able to watch on TV?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hoping to have a more successful trip to the Motor City than the one they had eight months ago, when they lost 31-23 to the Detroit Lions in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

For Bucs fans hoping to watch the game, well, you’d better be in Florida or Michigan (or very close to them), or you’re pretty much out of luck.  According to 506Sports.com, the game is going to be very limited regionally.

For the second straight week, the Tom Brady and the Dallas Cowboys television combination will carry across a big swath of the country on FOX, including parts of Florida and other parts of the South that might otherwise have had the Bucs game.

Instead, those left in the (very) South Georgia area, as well as the Southwest up to North Florida, will be able to watch the game.  Any Bucs fans in Michigan and Northwest Ohio will also be able to watch the contest locally.

The lack of exposure for the TB-DET game is a shame, given it’s a matchup of two division winners who feature two of the better offenses in the NFC, which was evident from their exciting playoff matchup.  Instead, many Bucs fans outside of Florida (and some inside Florida) will be forced to watch the Cowboys and the Saints do battle from Dallas.

As usual, fans can get around this with the NFL Sunday Ticket, or by finding a local watering hole that will be broadcasting all the games.

The Bucs and Lions are set to kick off at 1:00 pm ET on Sunday from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
