The Detroit Lions have added another cornerback to the roster ahead of the very final practice of the offseason. Detroit signed cornerback Rachad Wildgoose to the roster before Wednesday’s practice session.

Wildgoose, 24, is entering his fourth NFL season. After playing collegiately at Wisconsin, Wildgoose was a sixth-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s bounced around the NFL, playing in five total games.

The 5-foot-10 Wildgoose played for the Birmingham Stallions in the UFL in 2024. He joins a Lions secondary that has also added Javelin Guidry and Essang Bassey in the last few days. Detroit had an opening on the 90-man roster after placing WR Tre’Quan Smith and LB Malik Jefferson on I.R.
