Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell provided a positive injury update for former Tennessee Vols quarterback Hendon Hooker on Wednesday morning.
Hooker, a third round selection by the Lions in the 2023 NFL Draft, suffered a concussion in Detroit’s preseason opener against the New York Giants.
During an appearance on 97.1 The Ticket on Wednesday, Campbell said that Hooker is trending in the right direction to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday.
