Lions safety Kerby Joseph is not one to back down from a confrontation. New York rookie wide receiver learned that the hard way in Tuesday’s joint practices between the Lions and Giants.
Joseph and Nabers squared off in a heated, multi-punch brawl after a play where Lions rookie CB Terrion Arnold broke up a pass intended for Nabers in the end zone. Tensions have been boiling over throughout the two days of joint practices, but this wound up being the biggest individual fracas.
Here are a couple of different angles of the melee, which Joseph clearly won from a combatant point of view.

After practice, Nabers was asked if Joseph said something.
“He did but I’m not going to repeat it,” Nabers said.
Justin Rogers of the Detroit Football Network reported that Joseph and fellow DB Morice Norris, who also threw a punch in practice, were punished by Lions head coach Dan Campbell,
Norris got pulled off the field by coach Dan Campbell for his actions, while both the rookie and Joseph stayed long after practice running laps, presumably as a punishment.
Joseph refused to talk after practice, per Rogers.
