Two Lions starters leave joint pracitce with injuries

The first Detroit Lions joint practice session with the New York Giants proved to be a very charged atmosphere. Video clips of several fracases between the two teams leaked out on social media. It also was a practice that saw two Lions starters leave with injuries.

Rookie CB Terrion Arnold left Monday’s practice under the concussion protocol. Reports from practice indicate Arnold got hit on a block by Giants LT Andrew Thomas on a run play. Arnold, the Lions top draft pick in 2024, has been a first-team outside CB throughout camp.

This appears to be the hit that forced Arnold into the evaluation protocol.

Right guard Kevin Zeitler also left the practice in New York with a potential shoulder injury. There has been no immediate status report from the Lions on either player.
