Full list of joint practices around NFL training camp, including the Lions

USA Today

Joint practices between NFL teams ahead of their preseason games has become a lot more common in recent years. It’s a great way for coaching staffs to field test their ideas, not to mention their players, in a controlled environment against an opposing team instead of the same players they see every day in practices.

There won’t be any joint practices in Allen Park at the Detroit Lions training facility this year. Last season saw joint sessions with both the New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of the preseason games at Ford Field. With just one home exhibition date this year, the Lions won’t get to host any. They will hit the road for a few days with the Giants before the exhibition opener, however.

Here are all the announced joint practices for all the teams around the NFL, including the Detroit Lions and their trip to New York.
