The Detroit Lions schedule for 2024 sees the team with nine home games against just eight road contests, all of which are in the United States. That helps the Lions draw one of the most favorable travel schedules on the docket for the 2024 NFL season. Being located in the middle of the country in relatively close proximity to division rivals in Chicago, Minnesota and Green Bay helps keep the travel miles down for Detroit as well, even though all those teams play in a different time zone.
Using Google Earth, folks have tabulated the total miles each of the 32 NFL teams will travel in the upcoming season. From the Los Angeles Chargers to the Washington Commanders, here is how the travel miles track out for the coming season.
