The NFL has somehow turned the release of the schedule of games into an annual prime-time event. One big reason why the schedule release has become so popular with fans is the incredible work of the creative social media departments of the teams in creating schedule release videos.
The videos are sort of the Super Bowl for the social media teams, and they’re often fantastic. It’s a cool way to make something as banal as the NFL schedule into must-watch status.
This year’s crop runs the gamut of themes, or in the Lions case, having fun with not being able to come up with one. The videos here, as posted on the X (formerly Twitter) accounts of the teams themselves, are a great way to fill the deadest time period on the NFL schedule.
