Ex-Lions CB Cam Sutton turned himself in to authorities in Florida

USA Today

Recently released Lions cornerback has turned himself in to authorities in Florida for an arrest warrant that led to his release from the team.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released a video of Sutton entering their facility and turning himself in. Sutton was wanted on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation stemming from an incident on March 7th with a woman at a home in the community north of Tampa.

The Lions released Sutton shortly after it was discovered that he was wanted for the domestic assault and had fled the scene of the incident. He had been at large for almost three weeks, and there were concerns about Sutton’s own safety and well-being.
