The five best remaining free agents for the Lions

USA Today

Day One of NFL free agency was a whirlwind and then some. The late Bill Paxton would need to develop a whole new Dorothy system to register what happened once the dust settled. For the NFL, day one is just the start of it which means day two will be even harder.

The Lions and Brad Holmes came out the gates slower than most but they quickly came up with a very productive day.

The trade for Carlton Davis was the biggest move but the signing of Marcus Davenport shouldn’t be ignored. Yes, they lost Jonah Jackson but his massive deal was never going to be a thing in Detroit. The Davenport and Davis moves almost guarantee the interior offensive line gets addressed in round one come the NFL Draft.

On that note, who are some other free agents that could alter draft plans? Here are the five best free agents heading into day two.
