The Detroit Lions got a steal in camp last year when they claimed running back Zonovan Knight after he was released by the New York Jets so they could make room for Dalvin Cook. A move they now no doubt regret.
Knight immediately became a strong contender for running back three and even started to get reps over Craig Reynolds early in the year when David Montgomery got hurt. Then Knight got hurt against the Falcons when he hurt his shoulder. He’ll have another shot at that third spot next year as Bleacher Report is reporting that he has signed a new deal with the Lions.
