Lions LT Taylor Decker will play vs. Cowboys

USA Today

Detroit head coach Dan Campbell gave out some good tidings that should bring great joy to the Lions fans in advance of Saturday’s NFC showdown with the Dallas Cowboys. Left tackle Taylor Decker will be in the starting lineup for the Lions despite missing practice time this week with a groin injury.

“He’s good,” Campbell said. “He’ll be good.”

That’s Campbell’s language for a player being healthy enough to play without limitation.

Decker was limited in practice on Tuesday and sat out the Wednesday session completely. However, Campbell indicated the team was “being smart with him” in not having the veteran practice and potentially aggravate the injury.
