On Saturday, the Detroit Lions went against the Russell Wilson-led Denver Broncos in their week 15 matchup. The Lions were looking to bounce back from their week 14 upset loss against the Chicago Bears and they played remarkably on both sides of the ball. Furthermore, in the game, the Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown showed off his athleticism by flipping into the endzone.
During the final seconds of the first half, the Lions were leading by 14 points and were facing a crucial 3rd down and 7 from the Broncos’ 15-yard line. Detroit quarterback Jared Goff took the snap from the shotgun position and connected with his number one target Amon-Ra St. Brown, who used all of his athleticism to secure a touchdown.
After catching Goff’s pass on the slant, St. Brown leaped over two Broncos defenders and flipped right into the endzone to give the Lions a commanding 21-point lead at the end of the first half. Check out the footage of the athletic play attached below.
