The Lions are growing as favorites vs. the Broncos

USA Today

While fan sentiment might not be too supportive of the Detroit Lions right now, the betting public seems to be growing in confidence in Dan Campbell’s team. The wagering line on Saturday’s Week 15 matchup with the Denver Broncos in Ford Field continues to grow in favor of the Lions.

At BetMGM, the line on the game opened with the Lions favored by four points. As of Wednesday morning, that spread had grown to 5.5 points. The line shift reflects a significant amount of money pouring in on the Lions to beat the visiting Broncos.

OddsShark, which tracks line movement, also reflects a similar story. The Lions were favored by 3.5 points on Monday morning. Now, 48 hours later, the line is up to -5 for Detroit and a projected final score of Lions 30, Broncos 14. This comes even as the teams appear to be trending in opposite directions, and those trends don’t favor Detroit lately.
