Lions get their starting OL all back at practice

USA Today

Finally some positive news on the Detroit Lions injury front. The current optimal starting offensive line all practiced together on Wednesday as the Lions prep for a Week 15 visit from the Denver Broncos.

Left tackle Taylor Decker returned to the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday, a day after being listed as out from Tuesday’s walkthrough. Decker is dealing with a back injury, one that clearly impacted his performance in Detroit’s Week 14 loss in Chicago.

He was joined by center Frank Ragnow, who had been listed as limited on Tuesday. Ragnow did not practice at all last week and missed the Bears game dealing with back and toe injuries.

It’s an optimistic development to have the line all on the field together on Saturday. The line of (left to right) Decker, Jonah Jackson, Ragnow, Graham Glasgow, and Penei Sewell is the NFL’s best unit analytically but has struggled to all stay healthy together.
