What a week it has been for the Detroit Lions. It feels like Alim McNeill got moved to injured reserve three months ago, but it was only a few days ago. The week has felt so long because we’ve all been wondering who will step in for McNeill this week. The Lions have kept their lips sealed for the most part.
It seemed midway through the week that we had it figured out, but then the Lions threw a major curveball on Saturday when they did not elevate Bruce Irvin and they did not had Quinton Bohanna to the active roster. Both of those players will not play against the Bears. So who will then? We know now. Here’s today’s inactives:
- Steven Gilmore
- Antoine Green
- Charles Harris
- Chase Lucas
- Trevor Nowaske
- Frank Ragnow
Third round pick Brodric Martin will play in this game. This will be the second time he’s played this season. He made his debut against the Raiders on Monday Night Football and struggled a bit on 11 snaps. We’ll see how he does this week and how much he’ll play.
Along side him will be Isaiah Buggs. He’ll be active for the first time since the Lions played the Chargers in Week 10. Levi Onwuzurkie and Benito Jones will also be active for this game. We’ll see how the snaps play out in this one.
