Lions vs Broncos’ game gets a date and a time

The NFL always has these games late in the season where they want to wait things out before they schedule them up. The Detroit Lions game against the Denver Broncos is one of those games. Wait no more Lions fans, the game has been schedule and it’s in prime time.

The Lions will welcome the Broncos into town on Saturday, December 16th at 8:15 PM. The game will broadcast on NFL Network.

This scheduling makes a ton of sense. The Lions have been one of the NFL’s best and most fun teams this season and the Broncos are suddenly winners of five straight games and look like a team that could keep on winning.

There’s also some serious storyline action here too. This will be Dan Campbell’s first meeting with his mentor Sean Payton. Campbell was Payton’s Assistant Head coach with the Saints for four years and Campbell was with Payton as a player in New York too.

This should be a very fun game.
