Lions add Amon-Ra St. Brown to injury report ahead of Monday’s game

The Detroit Lions have added start receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown to their injury report with an illness. St. Brown practiced in full all week including Saturday. It is not know what St. Brown’s illness is or if it will wind up keeping him out on Sunday. He has been given a questionable designation.

Players have played with illness’s before. Surely everyone and their mother will bring up Michael Jordan’s infamous flu game from the 1998 NBA Finals. While that was heroic and cool to see, it probably wasn’t a safe thing to do.

We’ll see what the Lions decide to do on Monday at 6:50 PM when the inactives drop. We’ll also be sure to see what the Lions do when they do their usual roster shuffling before the game. If they elevate a receiver or two, that could be cause for concern. We’ll update you as soon as we know.
