Week 6 is over for the Detroit Lions and now it’s time to really get into the meat and potatoes of the NFL trade deadline. Last year the deadline fell on November 1st. While there were 10 trades that day, there were six trades the week before that.
Outside of the T.J. Hockenson trade on deadline day, those trades were a lot bigger than the ones that actually went down on deadline day. We’re talking the Christian McCaffrey, Roquan Smith and Kadarius Toney trades.
With that in mind, I’ve scoured the NFL and I’ve come up with the five most realistic players that could be playing for the Lions by the end of this week or at the deadline. Here they are:
