Lions final injury report for Week 3 vs. the Falcons

USA Today

The final injury report from the Detroit Lions for Sunday’s matchup in Ford Field with the Atlanta Falcons is longer than hoped for. After a brutally physical game in Week 2, the Lions will host the Falcons without several key players.

On the offensive line, left tackle Taylor Decker and right guard Halapoulivaati Vaitai are ruled out from Week 3 with injuries. Decker missed the Seahawks game with an ankle injury as well, while Vaitai suffered his knee injury in the loss to Seattle.

Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley and safety Kerby Joseph have also been ruled out. Joseph’s lingering hip injury from the Seattle game will keep the ballhawk out against Atlanta. Moseley continues to be sidelined with both a knee and a hamstring injury.

Running back David Montgomery is officially listed as doubtful with a bruised thigh, also suffered in Week 2. He did not practice all week.

Finally, wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown and Josh Reynolds are questionable. Both were full participants in Friday’s practice.
