The Detroit Lions are expected to be without one of their top playmakers for at least the next couple of games after they suffered a quad injury Sunday. The Lions lost a hotly contested match to the Seattle Seahawks in overtime in Week 2.

Lions running back David Montgomery had to leave the game due to what was reported to be a thigh bruise. His absence was noticed on the Lions’ offense late in the game. And they could be without him for a while.
