4 free agents Detroit Lions should watch in Cowboys-Buccaneers Wild Card game

SideLion Report

As Wild Card Weekend wraps up on Monday night, the Detroit Lions should have an eye on these four 2023 free agents as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Dallas Cowboys.

The Detroit Lions are into their offseason now, after narrowly missing out on making the playoffs. The future is bright though, and 2023 looks like it’ll be the next step for the Lions–a step toward winning the NFC North, or more.

The Lions currently sit in the top half of the league in 2023 cap space, in the $18 million range with moves on the table to add more. General manager Brad Holmes has made it pretty clear he’ll maintain a fairly conservative free agency plan, but the needs on the Lions’ roster are not as widespread as they have been the last couple offseasons as the rebuild got going. So some calculated aggression on the open market, with a narrow focus, could be in order.

NFL Wild Card Weekend will wrap up on Monday night, as the Dallas Cowboys pay a visit to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During the game, the Lions should be paying attention to these four upcoming free agents in particular.
