Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell’s weekly 2:15 p.m. news conference: Live updates to come

How ’bout them Detroit Lions?

The New York Jets’ top-10 defense buckled late as the Lions won on the road Sunday, 20-17. Fresh off another win, the sixth in the team’s past seven tries, Dan Campbell is hitting the podium Monday around 2:15 p.m. to break it down and take questions.

If you missed it, the Lions held a three-point lead most of the game before the Jets scored in the fourth to take a 17-13 lead with less than five minutes left. Had that score held up, Campbell would have faced some tough questions about his decision to kick a 54-yard field goal late. Michael Badgley’s attempt missed and the Jets scored after taking over on their own 44.

COLUMN:Finally, it’s the Lions who are getting the breaks and gaining playoff momentum

But Jared Goff (23-for-38 for 252 yards and a touchdown) and Brock Wright saved the day with an incredible 51-yard touchdown on a fourth-and-1. The Lions defense stopped Zach Wilson and the Jets (or, Wilson’s inaccuracy stopped the Jets) and Detroit pulled even closer to a wild-card spot.

Next up for the Lions is a Christmas Eve road game Saturday vs. the Carolina Panthers (5-9), who lost at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 24-16, on Sunday. Follow along below as Campbell talks to reporters Monday afternoon in Allen Park:
